I was born in Uruguay. I love God, life, and my wonderful husband. I am so proud of my son Philip (doctor) and his girlfriend Rebecca (law). My daughter Sarah is my best friend (Leicester University). I'm also passionate about the Salvation Army (my Church).
The idea for this blog has been forming in my mind and heart for some years now. In a previous congregation I actually handed some of these out to test the waters. People said they liked them because they were different, down to earth, revealed something of my crazy self and were sincere. I nicknamed them "my formulas" and I hold the Copyright but I don't mind if you want to use them somehow - at home or you could always print them and take away to read at odd moments...anywhere, anytime. I hope you find these weekly 'formulas' helpful and fun which is what personal devotions need to be! I even include things that are non-threatening which you can share with non-christians to gently bring them to a focus of Jesus. You can go through 'my formulas' in one go, or a section at a time over the week to keep the same theme going over in your mind...Enjoy, and God Bless You Richly! PS - Why not tell me how you are getting on with them?

About My Blog Titles
I am a teetotaller. I choose not to drink alcohol so you might well wonder why I use the words vineyard, harvest and vintage, words usually associated with wine making and wine tasting to name my blogs! I like these words because they help me communicate my journey of faith very well. If I was a fruit I would be a grape. I like to drink grape juice from a tall glass and I enjoy the sight of vineyards. Grapes grow in a vineyard, ripen for the harvest and mature into a vintage drink, biblical metaphors which beautifully mirror my own spiritual journey.
